MADISON, WIS. — CheeseCon organizers paid particular attention to innovations and insights for dairy processors when planning the upcoming show’s Ideas Showcase.

The Wisconsin Cheese Makers Association (WCMA) and the Center for Dairy Research, which host the biennial event, said speakers at the Ideas Showcase will shine a spotlight on topics such as food safety, automation, equipment innovations, regulatory compliance and process improvements, among others.

Scheduled for the afternoon of April 16 during the three-day conference at Alliant Energy Center in Madison, Wis., the Ideas Showcase was developed to help dairy manufacturers and processors stay in the loop and pick up fresh ideas, WCMA executive director John Umhoefer said.

“Ideas Showcase delivers business insights in compact, efficient talks on trending topics and new products,” Umhoefer said.

With two stages set up for the Ideas Showcase, it will offer 16 presentations in total from industry suppliers, such as Tetra Pak, Novonesis, Harpak-ULMA, Coperion, DSM-Firmenich and Krohne Inc.

Further details regarding the schedule and sessions are available online at the CheeseCon website.
