TREVOSE, PA. — Beaded ice cream maker Mini Melts USA made its frozen desserts more readily available to consumers by expanding its distribution.

Partnering with Royal Farms, Mini Melts now sells its novelty treats in grab-and-go freezers at the chain’s convenience stores, giving the ice cream brand a presence in close to 300 C-store locations throughout the Mid-Atlantic.

Mini Melts shared that Royal Farms locations will carry six of its popular flavors, which are formulated with 14% butterfat.

“As Mini Melts continues to grow its presence in the convenience retail space, partnering with a brand like Royal Farms is a natural fit,” Mini Melts president and chief executive officer Dan Kilcoyne said.  “Both of our brands are committed to quality, innovation and delighting customers, and we’re excited to introduce Mini Melts to even more consumers looking for a fun and delicious frozen treat during their daily routines.”

The ice cream snack maker shared that its latest distribution partnership is part of its strategy to expand its retail presence. Mini Melts said its footprint now covers more than 35,000 points of purchase. The company’s retail channels include automated kiosks, grab-and-go freezers, and custom serving carts and huts.

The distribution through Royal Farms includes locations in Delaware, Maryland, New Jersey, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Virginia and West Virginia.
