EDWARDSVILLE, ILL. — Manufacturers Prairie Farms Dairy and Hiland Dairy plan to donate at least $100,000 to nonprofit Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation (ALSF) to support pediatric cancer research.

The dairy makers announced that during their campaign a portion of the sale price from every Prairie Farms and Hiland lemonade product purchased will go to ALSF.

Branded lemonade products from Prairie Farms and Hiland, sold at various retailers in pints, quarts and half gallons, are part of the promotion. The companies also created special ALSF labels for products, with a QR code for the campaign.

Prairie Farms said its family of companies pledged to donate a minimum of $100,000 in support of ALSF’s mission to end childhood cancer and support families impacted by pediatric cancer.

“ALSF is a life changing organization and we’re thankful for the opportunity to show our support through this wonderful partnership,” Prairie Farms Dairy chief executive officer and executive vice president Matt McClelland said. “One of our foundational beliefs is to do right by our employees and customers, and I think supporting childhood cancer research is a statement for how we intend to accomplish that in 2025.”

Added Hiland Dairy president Rick Beaman: “We’re proud to stand with Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation. This partnership allows our community to contribute in a small but powerful way — with each bottle adding up to real impact.”
