MILWAUKEE — Palermo Villa, Inc. partnered with Kellanova to launch Cheez-It frozen pizzas that combine a 12-inch, ultra-thin original Cheez-It flavored crust with “100% real cheese” and “your favorite pizza toppings,” the company said.

The new pizza line comes in three varieties: Italian Four Cheese, Pepperoni and Cheddar Jack Supreme.

Italian Four Cheese features whole milk mozzarella, yellow cheddar, Parmesan and Romano cheeses. The Cheddar Jack Supreme includes pepperoni, Italian sausage, green and red peppers, black olives, onions, yellow cheddar and Monterey Jack.

“Cheez-It frozen pizza brings the best of both categories,” said Nick Fallucca, chief innovation officer for Palermo. “This starts with the crust, which is like a large Cheez-It flavored cracker — crispy, cheesy and square-shaped. It’s then topped with customer-favorite toppings that perfectly complement the crust.” 

Cheez-It frozen pizzas are available at a suggested retail price of between $6.99 and $9.99 and may be bought at select nationwide retailers, such as Kroger, Ahold, H-E-B, Winn-Dixie, Wegman’s and Food City, with plans to expand to other stores by August.
