CHICAGO — Dips and dressings manufacturer West Madison Foods partnered with a steak restaurant chain to create Texas Roadhouse Dairy Dips.

The companies said they chose the debut flavors by drawing inspiration from the restaurant’s most popular appetizers.

Texas Roadhouse Dairy Dips launched with Cactus Blossom Dip, Rattlesnake Bites Dip and Fried Pickle Dip flavors.

West Madison Foods described the Cactus Blossom variety as a Cajun style blend of onion, spices and garlic that tastes like fried onion dipped in Texas Roadhouse Blossom sauce.

The restaurant’s jalapeno and cheese appetizer inspired the Rattlesnake Bites flavor, which the manufacturer said offers a “spicy kick” with notes of garlic, cayenne and bell peppers.

The company formulated the Fried Pickle Dip to deliver the taste of the restaurant’s fried pickle appetizers.

The ready-to-eat, refrigerated dips come in 12 oz tubs and are being sold at Walmart locations.

"Texas Roadhouse continues to explore ways to engage with loyal guests and potential guests in the retail space," Texas Roadhouse chief executive officer Jerry Morgan said. "With the success of the Mini Rolls and our Buttery Spreads, dips inspired by our legendary appetizers felt like a natural fit."
