NEW YORK — Greek yogurt, creamer and oat milk manufacture Chobani, LLC announced it acquired frozen organic fruits and vegetables company Daily Harvest.

The acquisition expands Chobani’s portfolio into the ready-to-make meal category. Financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.

“These two purpose-led brands are united by a shared vision: to make high-quality, delicious food made with real ingredients more accessible,” Chobani said.

Founded in 2015 by Rachel Drori, Daily Harvest manufactures frozen ready-to-make meals and snacks that are plant-based.

Daily Harvest follows Chobani’s acquisition of La Colombe Coffee Roasters for $900 million in December 2023. The La Colombe acquisition expanded Chobani’s portfolio into the coffee category.

Beyond acquisition growth, Chobani is growing its operations as well. The dairy manufacturer announced in March this year that it was investing $500 million to expand its manufacturing plant in Twin Falls, Idaho.

In April, the company announced it broke ground on a $1.2 billion manufacturing plant in Rome, NY.
