AUSTIN, TEXAS – California creamery McConnell’s Fine Ice Creams once again collaborated with Garrison Brothers Distillery for a limited-edition ice cream.

Reintroduced this spring for the flavor’s third release, Garrison Brothers Whiskey & Pecan Pralines contains small batch bourbon, as well as milk, cream and salt-roasted pecans coated with caramel.

“It has always been a dream of ours to make the ultimate bourbon whiskey-flavored ice cream,” said Dan Garrison, founder of the Texas-based distillery. “When our bourbon hit the California market, McConnell’s Ice Cream was our first and only choice for a collaborator. Our mutual dedication to using the finest quality ingredients and not compromising on our standards is evident in every single scoop. I’ve without a doubt have never tasted any ice cream that is better than this.”

When the flavor first debuted in 2021, it sold out in days. The companies shared that they made more pints available than ever before this time around, after doubling the amount available in 2022.

“Going on our third year of partnering with Garrison Brothers Distillery, we’re excited to continue to work with a brand that shares the same commitment to quality ingredients and flavors,” said Michael Palmer, chief executive officer at McConnell’s. “Year after year, the collaboration flavor is still a fan-favorite and best-seller, and we hope customers continue to enjoy the partnership as much as we do.”

The special flavor launched in March at McConnell’s Scoop Shops, and are available for purchase online at the ice cream maker’s website.
