LOS ANGELES — A teen entrepreneur has created an ice cream brand set to debut at Walmart.com.

Jay Jay Brown, the 19-year-old founder of Madison Brown Ice Cream, partnered with retail industry veteran Jen Francis to launch the product line, which includes vanilla, chocolate, mint chocolate, cookies and cream, chocolate chip cookie dough and red velvet ice cream pints.

"Ice cream conjures feelings of summer sunshine, family laughs, and true happiness that can only be captured with the perfect sweet bite," said Francis, whose career spans a decade at Nordstrom Corporate as a retail buyer and merchandiser. "Madison Brown Ice Cream brings authentic family traditions around ice cream to life and we're so excited to share our story with other families. No matter what the occasion, Madison Brown Ice Cream is proud to bring communities together helping them create new memories."

A portion of sales will support charities that benefit globally underserved communities, according to the company. The products will roll out to Ralphs, BevMo, H-E-B and Walmart stores later this year. The minority-owned and mission-driven brand already has celebrity fans, including Kris Jenner and DJ Khaled, according to the company.

"Inspired by my family, Madison Brown reminds me that a great scoop of ice cream brings people together," Brown said. "As I start my own business venture, my family is there every step of the way within Madison Brown's origin story. I'm so grateful for our incredible retail partners from H-E-B in Texas to BevMo in Arizona and California and of course Walmart.com for believing in this vision. After two years of developing the world's most fabulous ice cream, we'd be nowhere without their enthusiasm for our brand and tremendous support."
