WAITSFIELD, VT. – Agri-Mark introduced David Lynn as its president and chief executive officer on March 2, after Lynn took on the role of interim CEO in September 2022.

The chairman of the dairy cooperative’s board, James “Cricket” Jacquier, said Lynn has displayed “exemplary leadership” at Agri-Mark. The board shared that it initiated a national CEO search through the Arlington, Va.-based Kincannon & Reed firm, and reviewed a pool of applicants before determining Lynn “was the clear choice” to lead the cooperative.

“He has engaged and energized our employees and farmers,” Jacquier said. “He has made significant progress that we are eager to see continue. We are confident in Dave’s vision and strategic direction for our cooperative and our brands.”

Milk from the cooperative’s farms is used in products from Cabot Creamery and McCadam Cheese, as well as butter, Greek yogurt, cottage cheese, sour cream, and milk and whey powders.

Lynn first joined Agri-Mark five years ago as the senior vice president of operations. The cooperative promoted him to senior vice president of top operations in September 2020. Approaching 30 years of work in the fields of consumer packaged goods and food manufacturing, Lynn earlier in his career spent 12 years with Kroger, where he was vice president of operations for Turkey Hill for three years. He also worked at L’Oréal USA and Hillshire Farm, in addition to seven years of service in the United States Navy.

“Leading Agri-Mark through this transition has been an honor,” Lynn said. “Now it’s time to continue the great work the leadership team has initiated over the last few months. I am committed to keeping our momentum going, to doing what’s right for the cooperative and our farmers, and to seeing Agri-Mark and our brands flourish and grow.”
