CINCINNATI – Commercial vehicle solutions supplier Doran Manufacturing, LLC, recently opened a new 10,000-square-foot facility near Cincinnati.

Jim Samocki, president at Doran, said the ownership group is “thrilled” with the new plant, located in Blue Ash, Ohio.

“Blue Ash is transportation friendly and offers many amenities that we didn’t have previously, which are great for our current and future team members,” Samocki said.

Samocki is part of a group of Doran executive leaders that recently became the company’s owners. Lee Demis, vice president of business development, and Dave Robinson, controller, also are part of the new ownership.

Doran, celebrating its 70th anniversary this year, is moving into what the company called a flex-space facility, designed for efficient manufacturing with room for growth.

“We continue to innovate and will soon be rolling out new initiatives that will make it even easier for customers to monitor their tire pressures,” Samocki said. “Whether in a fleet of over-the-road trucks and trailers, agricultural tractors and equipment, or off-road machinery for mining and heavy construction, our goal is to enhance safety and reduce costs across the fleet.”
