LOS ANGELES — Green Boy Group launched Plant-Dairy Protein, a new functional protein developed for the plant-based dairy alternatives industry.

The non-GMO ingredient is available in powder form and comes in four different types of protein made from pea, mung bean, fava bean and chickpea.

It offers a neutral flavor profile and may be used to enhance mouthfeel, boost nutritional properties and enlarge the textured aspects in a range of plant-based dairy products, including vegan cheese, yogurt, ice cream, spreads, butter, mayonnaise and eggs, according to the company.

It follows the launch of Green Boy Group’s Plant-Meat Protein in the United States and Europe last year.
