LYNNFIELD, MASS. – Hood announced the relaunch of its New England Creamery ice creams. The frozen desserts feature an updated formulation, as well as new inclusions in a full fat ice cream base.

The New England Creamery line is available in quart-sized quantities in 13 flavors: Boston Vanilla Bean, Bear Creek Caramel, Berkshire Vanilla, Cape Cod Fudge Shop, Martha's Vineyard Black Raspberry, Nantucket Nutty Cone, Mystic Seaport Chocolate, Down East Double Fudge Brownie, Rhode Island Lighthouse Coffee, Green Mountain Mint Chip, Mt. Washington Chocolate Peanut Butter Cup, Maine Sweet Blueberry and New England Homemade Style Vanilla.

Lynne Bohan, group vice president, communications and government affairs, HP Hood LLC, said the flavors celebrate various destinations across the New England region, and called the relaunched ice creams a “love letter from Hood to New England, Hood’s home for more than 175 years.”

Added Bohan: “Consumers will be delighted when they discover the new and improved inclusions like caramel-filled chocolate cups, fudge truffles, chopped peanut butter cups and espresso-flavored lighthouses.”

The ice creams from Hood will become available in the New England and Albany regions this month.

Hood has a portfolio of both national and super-regional brands, which includes Simply Smart Milk, Heluva Good!, Planet Oat, LACTAID, Blue Diamond Almond Breeze, Hershey’s Milk & Milkshakes and other products.
