BOWLING GREEN, KY. — Specialty ingredient supplier Bluegrass Ingredients opened a new product development center in Bowling Green, Ky.

The Agile Kitchen is designed to facilitate collaboration between food manufacturers and Bluegrass on the latest food trends. On-site amenities include an innovation kitchen for creation and pilot testing, along with support from Bluegrass’ food scientists, culinary specialists and R&D team.

Bluegrass also intends for the facility to serve as a digital resource hub, in conjunction with its physical location, providing manufacturers with up-to-date market trend research and analysis on rapidly changing trends.

Among the company’s many products are dairy powders, dairy concentrates and dairy seasoning blends, as well as oat milk powders.
