DENTON, TX – Seth Teply has been promoted to president and chief executive officer of Tetra Pak US and Canada, the world’s leading food processing and packaging solutions company. Teply, who previously held the position of vice president of services, has worked for Tetra Pak for two decades.

“I am thrilled to lead our US and Canada business as we continue to drive innovative solutions in food processing and packaging and deliver transformative change on our journey to create the world’s most sustainable food package,” Teply said.

Teply, who holds a bachelor’s degree in electrical and computer engineering from Valparaiso University, joined Tetra Pak back in 2001 as a process automation engineering intern. Over the years, Teply’s responsibilities within the company grew, eventually landing him the lead position at the corporation.

Despite the COVID-19 pandemic slowing production for many companies, Tetra Pak has seen immense growth.

“At a time of increased economic and environmental volatility, the food value chain is more important than ever,” Teply said. “Our continued success in an increasingly competitive landscape is due in large part to the relentless dedication of our team to meet the needs of our customers. It is my privilege to take the helm of our organization as we continue to build for the future.”
