WESTCHESTER, ILL. — Ingredion Inc. has appointed two executives who will report to Jim Zallie, president and chief executive officer. Tanya Jaeger de Foras has been named senior vice president, chief legal officer, corporate secretary and chief compliance officer, effective Nov. 29. Nancy Wolfe has been named senior vice president and chief human resources officer, effective Jan. 24.
Ms. Jaeger de Foras will oversee Ingredion’s global legal, corporate governance, compliance and government relations functions. She previously worked for Whirlpool Corp. Starting in 2015, she served as chief legal officer for the Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) business unit and was based in Italy. In 2019 she was appointed deputy general counsel and chief compliance officer and relocated to the Whirlpool’s global headquarters in Benton Harbor, Mich.
Ms. Jaeger de Foras received a bachelor’s degree in foreign service from Georgetown University and a JD from Harvard Law School. During a legal career of over two decades, she has worked for the law firm Sullivan & Cromwell LLP, Luxottica SpA (now EssilorLuxottica) and Pfizer, Inc.
“With her broad legal and international experience, Tanya is ideally suited to lead the legal function of Ingredion,” Mr. Zallie said. “I look forward to Tanya’s counsel and working with her in her new role.”
Ms. Wolfe will be responsible for all aspects of the global human resources function, including leadership and talent development, compensation and benefits, organizational effectiveness and change management, and Ingredion’s diversity, equity and inclusion agenda. Ms. Wolfe has more than 20 years of experience and previously worked for Bayer Crop Science.
Ms. Wolfe received a bachelor’s degree in finance and a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Illinois State University. She received a master’s in business administration from Washington University in St. Louis. She serves as vice chair of the board of directors for The Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater St. Louis and is a member of Washington University’s Olin Business School Alumni Board.
