WASHINGTON – The International Dairy Foods Association (IDFA) has three events on the horizon in the coming months: the International Sweetener Colloquium, the Ice Cream Technology Conference and the Yogurt & Cultured Innovation Conference.

First up is the International Sweetener Colloquium, from Feb. 27-March 2, in Tucson, Ariz. The IDFA and the Sweetener Users Association co-host the four-day event, at which people with numerous areas of expertise will gather to discuss pressing issues within the global sweetener industry.

The colloquium agenda includes presentations from numerous speakers, with topics covering government regulation, research, market trends and more.

The IDFA expects hundreds of the sweetener industry’s professionals and decision-makers, as well as people from companies that use sweeteners in their products, to attend.

The event also aims to serve as a business and trading partner springboard for buyers, refiners, distributors and companies in the industry.

The Ice Cream Technology Conference, which focuses on innovations in frozen dessert research, technology and market trends, is slated for March 29-30, in Bonita Springs, Fla.

The IDFA recommends everyone from plant managers to regulatory compliance personnel, research and development professionals and quality assurance staff within the ice cream and frozen dessert technology field, as well as suppliers, attend the conference.

The event offers hands-on sessions, product tasting, networking and chances to hear from industry experts on food safety, labeling and regulations.

The Yogurt & Cultured Innovation Conference coincides with the Ice Cream Technology Conference, from March 29-30, in Bonita Springs, Fla.

The Yogurt & Cultured Innovation Conference places an emphasis on information that yogurt and cultured dairy product professionals need. Executives, marketers, plant operations, research and development, and quality assurance staff from the industry are expected to take part in the meetings.

The conference covers topics such as ingredients, cultures, processing technology and packaging, as well as insight and networking opportunities with industry experts.

Those interested in attending the events can register on the IDFA’s website.
