CHICAGO – The Laughing Cow is celebrating their 100th anniversary with a $75,000 pledge to support The ComedyCures Foundation, a non-profit organization that aims at providing therapeutic entertainment and support to children and adults suffering from depression, illnesses, trauma and other disabilities.
“The heart of our organization is centered around bringing joy and laughter to those who need it most,” said The ComedyCures Foundation chief executive officer Saranne Rothberg. “We’re thrilled to be able to partner with The Laughing Cow during such a fun-filled celebration, but also graciously honored we can collaborate with them to extend and inspire laughter across the globe.”
The Laughing Cow has developed a free website where people can record and share their laughs to support The ComedyCures Foundation. In doing so, participants can enter to win a free customizable laugh box to re-upload and replay the experience.
“Inspiring people to choose to laugh at life brings people together, which has been at the core of The Laughing Cow brand for the past 100 years,” said The Laughing Cow USA Brand Director Zach Fatla. “Throughout February and March, fans can get their friends and families to share their laughs with us for a good cause. And this is just the beginning, we can’t wait to bring more surprises forward in the coming weeks as we celebrate our centennial.”
As part of the celebration, The Laughing Cow is also releasing limited edition packaging that commemorates the historic event and has developed a 360-degree global advertising campaign, which includes online videos and social media posts, to further spread the word. Every iconic all-red package will contain a scannable QR code that will bring viewers to the free website where they can experience the celebration themselves with a laugh.
