CHICAGO – Cheese ball and cheese log maker Kaukauna revealed it has revamped both the recipe and packaging for its products.

Manufactured by Bel Brands USA Inc., Kaukauna now uses a clean recipe – no artificial flavors or growth hormones and non-GMO – to make its cheese balls and logs.

The brand also modernized its packaging, which delivers the cheese products to consumers in 6-oz packages. Per Bel Brands, the idea was to make the cheese balls and logs more convenient to sample and share.

The newly formulated products made in Little Chute, Wis., are available in seven varieties. Both Port Wine Cheese and Sharp Cheddar Cheese can be purchased in ball or log form. Rosé White Cheddar Cheese, Smoky Cheddar Cheese and White Cheddar Cheese are sold as balls. Double Sharp Cheese and Sharp & Swiss Cheese come in logs.

"For more than 100 years, Kaukauna has been a casual entertaining staple that friends and families everywhere can rely on," said Michael Averbook, brand manager for Kaukauna. "As a brand with deep Midwestern roots, we know fall is the perfect time for casual entertaining and are excited for our fans to pair our new clean recipes with their favorite fall occasions."

The cheese products are now available at US retailers such as Walmart, Albertsons, Kroger and Publix, with a suggested retail price starting at $4.49.
