New York — Expanding its portfolio to offer more than chocolate bars, Milkboy Swiss Chocolates soon will introduce its first drink.

The company will debut its new Swiss Chocolate Drink from June 12-14 at the Specialty Food Association Summer Fancy Food Show in New York.

The product, which is a dairy-free, gluten-free and GMO-free cacao powder that that can be added to hot or cold milk, will become available at retailers in late June, with a suggested retail price of $9.95 per 1-lb tub.

“We’re thrilled to be back at the New York Fancy Food Show with a wonderful new product,” said Milkboy founder Emanuel Schmerling. “We spent a lot of time perfecting the recipe of our new Swiss Chocolate Drink and are very proud of the final product. We’re looking forward to introducing this authentic Swiss experience, which can be enjoyed year-round, to North American markets.”   

Milkboy Swiss Chocolate also produces a variety of chocolate bars, featuring flavors that incorporate ingredients such as alpine milk, roasted almonds, caramel, coffee and mint.

The company manufactures its chocolates in Switzerland, with milk sourced from the Swiss Alpine region. Milkboy won the sofi Gold Award for Best Milk Chocolate in 2021, and is a five-time sofi Great Taste Award winner.
