ELMHURST, ILL. – The American Dairy Products Institute (ADPI) plans to showcase research that advances the dairy industry during its upcoming Dairy Ingredient Technical Symposium.

ADPI formatted the event, now in its 24th year, for industry and academic researchers, marketers, product developers and manufacturers.

Scheduled for March 13-15 at the Hilton Santa Barbara Beachfront Resort, in Santa Barbara, Calif., the symposium will cover an array of dairy ingredient topics.

One of the first sessions on this year’s agenda will look into ingredient marketplace trends, breaking down the industry’s challenges and needs amidst a global recovery. Another session, focusing on health, wellness and nutrition, will dive into matters involving whey protein supplementation, polylactose, glycomacropeptide, and milk polar lipids and human health.

Some of the other subject matter will investigate such concepts as state-of-the-art dairy ingredients processing, biofermentation and the circular economy, and ingredient innovations for emerging trends.
