MADISON, WIS. – Organizers from the Wisconsin Cheese Makers Association (WCMA) and the Center for Dairy Research (CDR) expect more than 4,000 dairy industry professionals to attend this year’s CheeseExpo in Milwaukee.

Set for April 16-18 at Baird Center, the biennial event features dairy processing experts, research, trends, technology, education and suppliers, as well as various networking opportunities.

“This one-of-a-kind event is a hub for meaningful connection and a thoughtful exchange of ideas, all tailored to the dairy processing industry,” said Judy Keller, WCMA’s senior director of events. “Whether you're looking for innovative products, fresh perspectives or a broader network, if it’s important to you, you’ll find it at CheeseExpo.”

The event’s schedule includes a variety of seminars, covering key industry topics, such as sustainability, innovation, product safety and quality, and policy issues.

WCMA and CDR shared that Sumeet Mathur, managing director of FrieslandCampina Consumer Dairy Americas, will be the opening keynote speaker, sharing insights about the Dutch cooperative’s dairy sustainability endeavors.

Additionally, the exhibit floor will highlight the latest in dairy technology, with valuable examples of equipment, automation, ingredients, software and solutions available.

Further information on the conference, including registration details, is available via the CheeseExpo website. WCMA noted a 20% discount on registrations for most attendees is available through Jan. 30.
