LE MARS, IOWA — Halo Top is adding to its line of better-for-you frozen desserts with the launch of Halo Top Frozen Yogurt Pops.

Expanding the brand’s line of frozen fruit pops that debuted two years ago, the new offerings are made with Icelandic skyr-style yogurt, granola and fruit, including blueberries and strawberries. Each pop contains 110 calories and 4 grams of protein.

“Our fans know and love our ice creams and other frozen dessert options, but we wanted to give them a go-to snack for any time of day that brings all the indulgence of Halo Top plus a burst of protein and flavor,” said Pete Gargula, Halo Top brand manager. “An Icelandic skyr-style frozen yogurt pop was the perfect solution. It’s creamy, it’s hearty and you can feel good about grabbing one at any time of day.”

Halo Top’s yogurt pops come in packages of four and are available in two flavors, triple berry and strawberry, at grocery stores and additional retailers nationwide. The launch comes just over a month after Halo Top branched out into the baking aisle with a new line of boxed and single-serve baking mixes.
