SECAUCUS, NJ. — Consumer packaged goods company Happi Co. and hip-hop artist Snoop Dogg partnered to create Dr. Bombay Ice Cream, a frozen dessert brand, under the Bosslady Foods umbrella.

The product line launch features seven ice cream varieties that combine unique and nostalgic flavors, such as Bonus Track Brownie, Cocoa Cream Cookie Dream, Iced Out Orange Cream and Syrupy Waffle Sundaze. Dr. Bombay’s desserts initially are rolling out in the frozen aisle at 3,500 Walmart stores across the United States.

“Ice cream is more than just a snack to me; it's a way to chill, relax and get happy,” Snoop Dogg said. “That's exactly what I want Dr. Bombay Ice Cream to do — bring a smile to your face and ease your mind. I've poured my heart and soul into perfecting these first seven flavors, and I can't wait for my fans and the world to experience what I've created.”

Dr. Bombay Ice Cream represents Snoop Dogg’s third food and beverage partnership in the last year, including Funyun-inspired Snazzle O’s from TSUMo Snacks and the Snoop Cereal brand launched with Post Consumer Brands.

“As a company we're always looking to develop products and partner with personalities and brands that embody authenticity,” said Sam Rockwell, chief executive officer of Happi Co. “When Snoop approached us with the idea of starting a new company with a focus on frozen treats, it became obvious that we share core values, which is a key ingredient for a strong partnership.”
