PETALUMA, CALIF. – A2 dairy ice cream maker Alec’s Ice Cream continues to extend its distribution reach, as the company announced its regenerative verified, USDA organic certified ice cream is arriving at Whole Foods Market locations.

The company shared such flavors as Tahitian Vanilla Bean, Chocolate Chocolate Chip, Salted Caramel Latte, Honey Blueberry Lavender, Mint Chocolate Chip, Matcha Chocolate Chip and Peanut Butter Fudge Honeycomb will be available in Whole Foods Market freezer aisles.

The ice cream made with 100% A2 dairy now can be purchased in more than 1,500 retail stores throughout the United States.

“We are incredibly excited and proud to announce our nationwide launch at Whole Foods Market,” said Alec Jaffe, founder and chief executive officer of Alec’s Ice Cream. “I grew up shopping the aisles of Whole Foods Market, and to have the opportunity to share our mission-driven ice cream brand that combines flavor, organic and regenerative ingredients with conscious shoppers who care about where their food comes from and the impact its production creates on the environment is hugely validating.”

Per Alec’s Ice Cream, its products are made with carbon neutral, regenerative organic certified cane sugar, and the milk used in its products comes from a single-source, family-owned and operated A2 dairy farm in Northern California that specializes in regenerative farming.

Julie Bandin, principal category merchant at Whole Foods Market, and Ruby Rios, associate category merchant for Whole Foods Market, said they were excited to have Alec’s Ice Cream products available at stores nationwide.

Earlier in 2023, Alec’s Ice Cream flavors first arrived at Sprouts Farmers Market and Natural Grocers locations.
