AKRON, NY – Perry’s Ice Cream partnered with Ohio State Sports Properties to roll out a new flavor developed specifically for Buckeyes fans.

The NutHouse, set to launch in August, ahead of the college football season, features the Ohio State logo and mascot Brutus Buckeye on the packaging. The ice cream inside includes a sea salt caramel base, brownie batter swirls and peanut butter cookie dough.

Perry’s shared that a portion of the proceeds made from selling the new flavor will support Ohio State scholarships and student activities.

“We’re thrilled that Perry’s created this unique flavor to recognize the loyal and passionate Ohio State fanbase,” said Todd Knisley, vice president and general manager for Learfield’s Ohio State Sports Properties, the university’s athletics multimedia rightsholder.

Nichole Buryta, senior brand manager for Perry’s, said the company wanted to recognize Ohio State’s “passionate, dedicated” fans and give them their own flavor.

Fans from all over the country will be able to purchase The NutHouse flavor online from the Perry’s website when it debuts in August.
