DALLAS — LaLa is launching a line of products inspired by Hispanic desserts. The new Postres Auténticos portfolio includes three dessert yogurt smoothies and two fruit and crema desserts.

The Postres Auténticos dessert yogurt smoothies come in three flavors: Fresas con Crema (strawberries and cream), Tres Leches Cake and Arroz con Leche (rice pudding). Each 6.7-oz bottle contains 180 to 190 calories, 27 grams of sugar, 5 grams of protein and 15% of the daily recommended value of calcium.

The Fresas con Cream smoothies are made with whole milk, sugar, strawberry puree, stevia and vegetable juice for color.

The Tres Leches Cake smoothies are made with whole milk, sugar, sweetened condensed milk, butter, stevia and fruit and vegetable juice for color.

The Arroz con Leche smoothie is made with whole milk, sugar, rice flour, sweetened condensed milk, cinnamon and stevia.

The fruit and crema desserts feature a base of LaLa’s Cream Mexicana, flavored with fruit and sugar, and come in two flavors: Fresas con Crema and Duraznos con Crema (peaches and cream). The desserts come in 4-oz single-serve cups that contain 230 to 240 calories, 16 grams of sugar, 2 grams of protein and 6% of the daily recommended value of calcium.

The Fresas con Crema dessert is made with sour cream, sugar and diced and pureed strawberries.

The Duraznos con Crema dessert is made with sour cream, sugar and diced and pureed peaches.

“The Postres Auténticos family of dessert products is authentic, nourishing and high-quality,” said Jorge Ramos, chief executive officer of LaLa US, Inc., a subsidiary of Grupo LaLa. “The flavors of the smoothies and cremas are inspired by Hispanic dinner table traditions.”

LaLa Postres Auténticos products are now available in Hispanic specialty grocery stores across the United States.
