AUSTIN, TEXAS – Better-for-you frozen treat manufacturer GoodPop introduced a new line of fudge bars made from oatmilk.

The alternative dairy bars inspired by classic ice cream truck favorites are gluten-free and Non-GMO Project verified. The line debuts with four flavors: Fudge n' Vanilla Crunch, Double Chocolate Fudge, Fudge n' Caramel Crunch and Mint n' Fudge Chip. Each bar includes 130 calories or fewer and is either dipped in chocolate fudge or contains fudge chips.

"We love reinventing classic nostalgic favorites with better-for-you ingredients, which means they have a much shorter, cleaner ingredient list and are allergen-friendly, but without sacrificing taste," said Daniel Goetz, chief executive officer and founder of GoodPop. "With our new frozen dessert bars, we saw an opportunity to recreate another range of classic ice cream favorites with better ingredients that are delicious and good for both people and the planet."

The Fudge n' Vanilla Crunch bar features a vanilla interior, plus a chocolate fudge shell topped with small pieces of crushed organic cacao beans. The Double Chocolate Fudge bar includes a chocolate oatmilk filling inside a chocolate shell. The Mint n' Fudge Chip variety is made with organic peppermint leaves and fair trade cocoa chips. Fudge n' Caramel Crunch is comprised of a caramel oatmilk filling, coated in chocolate and crushed organic cacao beans.

The newest products from GoodPop come in boxes of four with a suggested retail price of $5.99. The company is selling them on its website, as well as at retailers Sprouts Farmers Market and Publix Super Markets. In the months ahead, the company plans to also make the bars available at Whole Foods Market and other retail locations throughout the United States.
