COLUMBUS, OHIO – Anyone interested in kicking off the weekend with a nontraditional dairy breakfast treat may find some assistance from Jeni’s Splendid Ice Creams.

The artisan ice cream brand announced it is celebrating Ice Cream for Breakfast Day on Feb. 3 by introducing a new limited time flavor, Banana French Toast.

Banana French Toast, the company shared, includes banana custard, Butternut Mountain maple syrup and what Jeni’s calls its cinnamon-brown sugar French toast gravel, which is made in its Columbus, Ohio, kitchen.

Pints of the newest addition to the brand’s morning collection, which includes Brambleberry Crisp, Coffee with Cream & Sugar, Maple Soaked Pancakes, Milkiest Chocolate, and Skillet Cinnamon Roll, are being sold online via the Jeni’s website.

The Ice Cream for Breakfast flavors also will be sold in Jeni’s scoop shops, which open early at 9 a.m. local time for the occasion on Feb. 3.

As part of the scoop shop experience for the “holiday,” the ice cream maker revealed it will offer special French toast waffle cones and launch its Banoffee L’affogato, which is comprised of Banana French Toast scoops and Slingshot cold brew.
