PLYMOUTH, WIS. – Artisan cheese maker Sartori Cheese broadened its cheddar lineup, launching two new flavors: Sriracha Cheddar and Italian Herb Cheddar.

Sartori described the Siracha Cheddar as featuring “subtle heat and satisfying spice,” while its Italian Herb Cheddar blends rosemary, sage and oregano “for a bold and zesty taste.”

A fourth-generation, family-owned company, Sartori shared that its master cheesemakers crafted and refined the new flavors for several years. The company’s cheesemakers recommend pairing each cheese with certain snacks and drinks for “an even more immersive flavor experience.” They endorsed pairing Sriracha Cheddar with dry pilsner, chilled Riesling, pears, green grapes, honey, pecans and sesame crackers. For the Italian Herb Cheddar, they suggested pale lager, Cabernet Franc, red grapes, fig preserves, mixed olives, tiny orange and/or yellow tomatoes, soppressata, almonds and toasted baguette slices.

“We’re excited to share Sriracha Cheddar and Italian Herb Cheddar with people all over the world,” said Sartori Cheese chief executive officer Bert Sartori. “Our master cheesemakers have worked hard to develop these two unique flavors, and we can’t wait for everyone to experience them in the way they enjoy most.”

The new cheddar flavors are available at retailers throughout the United States, as well as on Sartori’s website.
