BURLINGTON, VT. – Salty and sweet flavors prevail in the latest ice cream roll out from Ben & Jerry’s, which launched its PB S'more and Impretzively Fudged varieties.

The ice cream maker said its “riff on the classic campfire dessert” contains what might be the company’s “biggest chunks to date,” featuring extra large pieces of chocolate peanut butter cups. The base ice cream flavor, toasted marshmallow, also features pieces of graham crackers and a marshmallow swirl.

"We heard our fans' pleas for chocolate peanut butter cups and we were excited to include them in our take on such a nostalgic dessert," said José Ureña a flavor guru with the company. "As we were developing the flavor, we were inspired by an internal team tasting – a 's'moregasbord' if you will – of all the ways we like to enjoy our own s'mores. The combinations are limitless, but we think fans will enjoy this interpretation.”

The Impretzively Fudged flavor, meanwhile, combines salty pretzel swirls with chocolate ice cream and fudge-covered pretzel pieces. Ben & Jerry’s also shared that flavor guru Natalia Butler suggested crumbling potato chips or another favorite salty snack on top of the new flavor to make it even crunchier.

Per Ben & Jerry’s, the two new ice cream flavors are starting to appear in freezer aisles across the country.
