BURLINGTON, VT. – Ice cream maker Ben & Jerry’s linked with allergy-friendly food company Partake to create its newest flavor, a dairy alternative frozen dessert called Oatmeal Dream Pie.

Inspired by oatmeal cream pies, the non-dairy flavor features gluten-free oatmeal cookies from Partake as well as marshmallow swirls.

The new certified vegan flavor is a full-time addition to Ben & Jerry’s line of dairy alternative products, and the company said Oatmeal Dream Pie already is shipping to retailers throughout the US.

Partake is a Black-owned, women-led business based in New York.

“We're thrilled to partner with high-end suppliers who provide the incredible chunks and swirls fans expect from Ben & Jerry's, and this flavor truly delivers," said Chris Rivard, a Flavor Guru for the Vermont-based ice cream maker.

Denise Woodard, founder and chief executive officer of Partake, called the collaboration a dream come true.

"As fellow champions of inclusivity and good food doing good, Ben & Jerry's has long been on at the top of our list to partner,” Woodard said. “We are thrilled to join them in freezers across America by providing our one-of-a-kind oatmeal cookies.”
